There are many ways to produce web spots. We believe one of the most effective is the corporate documentary which includes interviewing subjects to provide compelling testimonial content. Another way is to have a short script read by a voice-over narrator or an on-camera talent that describes a product or process. You could also create a short animation that illustrates your content...or you could have a combination of these approaches.
1.) Pre-Production
The process begins with a document which outlines the points you want the web spot to make. This list of "audience take-away impressions" assures you that throughout the production process, the show will be shaped by your guidelines. At this point, it will be determined which production approach should be taken.
2.) Production
We can shoot in our studio or on location anywhere in the country. We will staff the necessary crew and if needed, hire the appropriate talent. If a documentary style is decided upon, we will interview the people whose comments and testimony will help deliver your key points. We will also shoot background video (B Roll) establishing the visual points to support your story.
3.) Content Review
Once we have completed the shooting process, we schedule a review session, where we view selected footage. During this session, which can happen through our on-line media center, our producers and our clients gain a very strong agreement on the content and direction of the edit process.
4.) First Cut
Once the bulk of our editing process is completed, we view the show in rough format to make sure it is complete, and that the client is thoroughly satisfied with the content and style.
5.) Final Delivery
The show is posted online and we provide further guidelines to the client on how future web spots can be created from the footage we shot. From our point-of-view, there is never a "final product", because "change" is built in to our system, and it is our goal to help our client keep their production up-to-date at a reasonable cost so their initial investment pays off for years to come.
